Dubai is set to celebrate the arrival of 2026 with a show that lives up to its global reputation. This year, the city is organising 48 fireworks spread across 40 iconic sites, including the Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, Expo City, Dubai Festival City or even Bluewaters Island.

From 4 pm : Al Asayel Street, Burj Khalifa Street, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard
At 8 pm : Al Sukook Street
At 9 pm : Financial Centre Street
At 11 pm : Sheikh Zayed Road (in certain sections)
The RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) has announced a more comprehensive plan:
Dubai Metro open for 43 hours straight,
Free shuttle buses from several park-and-ride car parks,
Free parking areas near the main venues for the celebrations.
A multi-venue celebration across the emirate
Dubai is breaking new ground this year by expanding the number of venues hosting the festivities, allowing every neighbourhood to get involved his own countdown. The fireworks displays will be synchronised across several major venues, allowing families to avoid the crowds whilst still enjoying a top-class show.

The authorities have put in place extensive security measures to oversee the festivities. Teams of police, emergency services and volunteers will be deployed throughout the city. Meeting points, first-aid stations and bilingual guides will be available to assist visitors.
